A family business with roots dating back to 1965, Edgar Cochran—who invented the first mechanical mint planter (the Mint-a-Matic)—launched what would later grow into the mint supplier Norwest Ingredients, now run by his sons and fellow mint farmers Terry and Jeffrey Cochran.
Founded by the brothers in 1998, Norwest Ingredients strives to bring its clients exceptional mint flavors and fragrances that are clean, crisp and powerful in character, and, of course, low-cost.
Quality drives our products, customer service, and internal relationships. Integrity, hard work, efficiency, and camaraderie are the core values instilled in each Norwest employee. Commitment, inspiration, creativity, customer satisfaction and our pioneering spirit direct us in continuous improvement.
